DAY 1

Lucerne

Arrival in Lucerne Arrival in Lucerne by train 2nd class from the Swiss border or airport. If time permits, then you can visit Mt. Rigi, the Queen of Mountains, excites her visitors with wonderful views of the lakes and mountains. Rigi is famous for its golden round trip from Arth Goldau to Rigi Kulm to Vitznau to Lucerne. It covers Cogwheel train and boat journeys. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 2

Lucerne - Mt. Pilatus

After a romantic boat trip on Lake Lucerne, follow the spectacular ride with the world‘s steepest cogwheel railway to Pilatus Kulm 2132 m / 7000 ft. Riding down with the aerial cableway ‘Dragon Ride’ and the panorama gondolas to Kriens, where you take bus Nr 1 back to Lucerne. The Golden Round Trip can also be done the other way around. DAY 3

Lucerne to Lugano - Swissminiatur Park

Train journey from Lucerne to Lugano. Visit Swissminiatur, located in Melide, a 7 minute train ride from Lugano, in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. Lugano - Bernina Express - St. Moritz

Today you travel with the Bernina Express of the Rhaetian Railway along the UNESCO World Heritage route. Enjoy an Alpine switchback ride, taking you from the high, towering glaciers of the mountains down to the swaying palms of Italy. The Bernina Express is the highest railway line across the Alps, linking Northern and Southern Europe in the most spectacular way! DAY 5

St. Moritz - Glacier Express - Zermatt (8h)

Today you board the Glacier Express for one of the greatest train journeys in the world. On an 8 hour rail journey the world’s slowest express train takes you across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2’033 m. DAY 6

Zermatt - Gornergrat

At an altitude of 3,089m, visit Gornergrat, Switzerland's top excursion destinations since 1898. Board the cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat, with views of the majestic Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and other spectacular summits. Rest of day at your leisure. Overnight in Zermatt.

DAY 7

Zermatt to Montreux

Today you take a regional train through the Valais, which is well known for its excellent wines, to Montreux. We recommend a visit to Chillon Castle, a moated castle on the shores of Lake Geneva. Overnight in Montreux.

DAY 8

Montreux - GoldenPass Line - Gstaad - Glacier 3000

Experience the Golden Pass Line from Montreux to Gstaad and take the bus to reach the Glacier 3000. Take the cable car to reach the top. There you can enjoy the Peak Walk by Tissot, only suspended bridge connecting two peaks, the Ice Express, the Glacier Walk as well as many other activities. Return back and overnight in Montreux.

DAY 9

Montreux to Interlaken

Train journey with the GoldenPass Panoramic train to Interlaken. You find yourself among alpine forests, bubbling mountain springs and picturesque mountain villages. Overnight in Interlaken.

DAY 10

Interlaken - Schilthorn

visit Schilthorn – Piz Gloria at 2970 metres above sea level, you include a new bucket list adventure travelling on the steepest cableway in the world!
