DAY 1

Zermatt

Arrive at Zurich Airport. Take a train to arrive at Zermatt via Visp. Zermatt is a mountain resort with the best views of the world’s most picturesque mountain peaks Matterhorn and Gornergrat. Its main street, Bahnhofstrasse is lined with boutique shops, hotels and restaurants, and also has a lively après-ski scene. Overnight in Zermatt.

DAY 2

Zermatt - Gornergrat

At an altitude of 3,089m, visit Gornergrat, Switzerland's top excursion destinations since 1898. Board the cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat, with views of the majestic Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and other spectacular summits. Rest of day at your leisure. Overnight in Zermatt.

DAY 3

Zermatt - Glacier Express Train - St. Moritz

Today you board the Glacier Express, which is one of the greatest train journeys in the world. You travel from Zermatt to St.Moritz. An 8 hour railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2033 meters in altitude. Travel in comfort through the unspoilt natural beauty of a landscape. Overnight in St.Moritz.

DAY 4

St. Moritz - Bernina Express - Lugano

Today you travel with the Bernina Express of the Rhaetian Railway along the UNESCO World Heritage route. Enjoy an Alpine switchback ride, taking you from a land of towering glaciers to one of swaying palms. It has two legs of journey, first you travel by train until you reach Tirano. The second leg is a bus journey from Tirano to Lugano. Overnight in Lugano.

DAY 5

Lugano - Swissminiatur Park

Today you visit Swissminiatur, located in Melide, a 7 minute train ride from Lugano, in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. Spanning an area of 14,000 sqm the park boasts of more than 120 miniature models of all the Swiss attractions like the Matterhorn, Jungfrau, the Chapel Bridge, Chillon Castle, cathedrals and other buildings of Switzerland. The Park also has a self service restaurant serving Indian cuisine. Overnight in Lugano

DAY 6

Lugano - Zurich - Lindt - Home of Chocolate

Check out and take the train via Gotthard base tunnel to arrive at Zurich. Check-in and leave to visit Lindt - Home of Chocolate.
