DAY 1

ARRIVE RAIPUR

On arrival at Raipur airport/ Railway station, you will meet our representative/driver who will help you to take a transfer to the hotel. After you freshen up full day is free for leisure you may even opt for local sightseeing of Raipur followed by some Shopping in the local market, overnight stay at Raipur.

DAY 2

RAIPUR - CHAMPARAN - GANGREL (120 Kms/ 03 hrs)

Morning drive to Rajim, Champaran, Champaran (earlier known as Champajhar) is a small but famous village as it's the birthplace of the saint Vallabhacharya, the reformer and founder of the Vallabh Sect. A beautiful temple has been built in honour of this great saint, which has enhanced the religious sancty of the place. The temple of Champakeshwara Mahadeva is another aracon at Champaran, worth visiting on your Champaran Tour. In evening, proceed to Gangrel dam one of the biggest dams in central India overnight stay at BARDIHA LAKE VIEW COTTAGE.

DAY 3

GANGREL - JAGDALPUR (220 Kms/ 05 hrs)

After morning breakfast enjoy water sports activity at Gangrel dam and later proceed to Jagdalpur. On arrival, check-in to the resort and have a comfortable stay at night.

DAY 4

CHITRAKOTE - DANTEWADA & BARSOOR - JAGDALPUR (45 KMS / APPROX 1 HR)

After breakfast proceed to visit Dantewada to pay your visit to one of the famous Danteshwari temple and Barsur temple. Danteshwari Temple is temple dedicated to Goddess Danteshwari, and is one of the 52 Shakti Peethas, the temple built in the 14th century, is situated in Dantewada, a town situated 90 km from Jagdalpur Tehsil, Chhattisgarh. Dantewada is named after the Goddess Danteshwari, the presiding deity of the earlier Kakatiya rulers. Traditionally she is the Kuldevi (family goddess) of Bastar state Every year during Dusshera thousands of tribals from surrounding villages and jungles gather here to pay homage to the goddess, when her idol was taken out of that ancient Danteshwari temple and then taken around the city in an elaborate procession. Barsoor - This place was once considered the epicenter of the Hindu civilization. There were 147 temples and equal number of ponds here. U can now see 2 sandstone images of Ganesha, both in the aspect of Maha-Ganapati. The size of Idol is of 8 feet high and over 17 feet wide. In complex there was originally a Shiva temple ie now in ruins. Inside the complex authorities made a cage where they have kept both the Ganeshas to avoid further damage. Later transfer to Jagdalpur hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 5

JAGDALPUR - TEERATHGARH & KUTUMSAR CAVE EXCURSION

After breakfast leave for the next a famous attraction of the place, Kanger Valley National Park. The Kanger National Park is known for its unique wildlife and beautiful surroundings. It is considered the finest of all virgin forest areas on earth. The park also has large deposits of limestone which are present in the form of caves. On your visit to this national park, do pay a visit to the limestone caves which are famous for the beautiful formations of stalactite and stalagmite. To add more fun to your tour, you can enjoy picnic lunch near the Teerathgarh Fall which is a famous tourist attraction. On reaching to the hotel, have your dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 6

JAGDALPUR - RAIPUR (300 KMS / 06 HRS) - DEPARTURE

After having your breakfast, leave back for Raipur by road. Drop to Airport / Railway station for return journey with sweet memory.
