AHMEDABAD

Ahmedabad, in western India, is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The Sabarmati River runs through its center. On the western bank is the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which displays the spiritual leader’s living quarters and artifacts. Across the river, the Calico Museum of Textiles, once a cloth merchant's mansion, has a significant collection of antique and modern fabrics

SOMANATH

The Somanath temple or Deo Patan, is a Hindu temple located in Prabhas Patan, Veraval in Gujarat, India. It is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus and is the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. 

PORBANDAR

Porbandar is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat, perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama. It is the administrative center of the Porbandar District and it was the former capital of the Porbandar princely state

DWARAKA

Dwarka is an ancient city in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna. Dwarka Beach and nearby Dwarka Lighthouse offer views of the Arabian Sea. Southeast, Gaga Wildlife Sanctuary protects migratory birds and endangered species like the Indian wolf.

NAGESHWAR

Nageshwara Jyotirlinga is one of the twelve Jyotirlings, which are temples devoted to Shiva,located in Aundha Nagnath, Hingoli, Maharshtra. Some individuals believe that the Dwarka Shivalinga in gujrat represents the Nageshwara Jyotirlinga.

The Shiva Purana says Nageshvara Jyotirlinga is in 'the Darukavana', which is an ancient name of a forest in India. 'Darukavana' finds mention in Indian epics, such as Kamyakavana, Dvaitavana, Dandakavana.

AKSHARDHAM

Akshardham' means the divine abode of God. It is hailed as an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham at New Delhi is a Mandir – an abode of God, a Hindu house of worship, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony. Timeless Hindu spiritual messages, vibrant devotional traditions and ancient architecture all are echoed in its art and architecture.The mandir is a humble tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781- 1830), the avatars, devas and great sages of Hinduism. The traditionally-styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 with the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted efforts of skilled artisans and volunteers.

MATHRUGAYA

Matru Gaya is one of the Siddha Peethas on the banks of River Saraswati and Bindu Sarovara. It is a sacred place where there used to be the ashrama of Kardama Muni and Devahuti. Lord Kapila, the son of Kardama Muni enlightened His mother in this holy place.

MODHERA

Modhera is a village in Mehsana district of Gujarat, India. The town is well known for the Sun Temple of Chaulukya era. The town is located on the bank of Pushpavati river.

Itinerary
  • Day 1 : BENGALURU - AHMEDABAD
    Departure to Ahmedabad. Arrival at Ahmedabad Airport .Pickup and transfer to Hotel. After fresh up visit Gandhi Ashram, Akshardham Temple, Hate Singh Jain Temple. Night Stay at Ahmedabad.
  • Day 2 : AHMEDABAD - SOMANATH
    Morning after breakfast dep to Somnath. Visit Somnath Temple, Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Ghat & Evening Light And Sound Show at Somanath. Night stay at Somnath.
  • Day 3 : SOMANATH - PORBANDAR - DWARAKA
    Have the breakfast at Somnath and proceed to Dwaraka . On the way visit PORBANDAR (Visit Kirti Temple, Birth place of Gandhiji, Sudama Temple, Shri Hari Temple ) & then drives to Dwarka. Evening check in to the Hotel & Then Visit Dwarkadhish Temple. Stay at Dwarka.
  • Day 4 : DWARAKA - NAGESHWAR - AHMEDABAD
    Morning Visit Rukmini Temple, Gopi Talav, Nageshwara Temple,renownly known as one of the 12 jyotirlingas. Dep to Ahmedabad. Night halt at Ahmedabad.
  • Day 5 : DWARKA - MODHERA - MATHRUGAYA - AHMEDABAD
    Morning dep to Matrugaya, time for ritual performance, after lunch, proceed to famous Sun Temple of Modhera. Night halt at Ahmedabad.

    SOMANATH

    The Somnath temple located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat, is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines
    of Shiva. It is an important pilgrimage and tourist spot of Gujarat. Destroyed and reconstructed several times in the past, the present temple was reconstructed in Chalukya style of Hindu temple architecture and completed in May 1951. The reconstruction was envisioned by Vallabhbhai Patel and was completed under K. M. Munshi, the then head of the temple trust.
