KAILASH (SUMERU) PARBAT
From the advent of Hindu religion for the last 5000 years, it is believed that the sacred rivers originate from the center of the universe, which is Kailash and Mansarovar. Kailash also known as Sumeru Parbat is the home of Lord Shiva. Indus, Satluj, Ganges, Karnali and Brahmaputra rivers originate from this holy spot. The fact that Mt. Kailash is important not only for Hindus but also for Buddhists, Jains, BanPo, Sai Baba followers gives high significance to this holy land.

Kailas Parbat 23,080 Ft. from the sea level is a rock pyramid with Snow Cap and is located in rich scenic area of Western Tibet. It lies between the Himalayan ranges, Karakorum ranges and Naga Parbat - the three great mountain ranges of Asia. From here one can see Into Afghanistan, Pakistan, Hindustan (India) & Nepal. Often referred to as the Mountain of Swastika, an ancient sign of good luck; it is considered most auspicious to make a religious pilgrimage around the 52 km circuit. In fact, the entire region of Kailash is of important religious significance that includes the two turquoise-blue pristine high lakes of Mansarovar and Rakshes Tal. Mt. Kailash also offers many opportunities for nature lovers as large numbers of unusual species of birds, wildlife and flora-fauna can be found here. This holy region is a symbol of creation of the universe, attracting scholars and researchers worldwide.

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Kathmandu – pick up from airport and transfer to hotel, rest of the day is free, Night halt at Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu - After breakfast start to Kathmandu sightseeing including Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Budha Nilkanth Darshan, back to hotel and rest of the day is free for packing and program briefing.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Nylam (3700mt) - This is the first day of the Yatra. After breakfast depart from Kathmandu to China border by tourist coach. It takes about 05 hours. Our agent will complete our custom formalities and check into Tibet, an autonomous part of China. After lunch drive to a small Tibetan town called Nylam by Land Cruiser. Overnight stay at Nylam Guest House. Breakfast and dinner in camp side and packed lunch will be provided.
Day 04: Nylam Full day acclimatization - Full day free for excursion of Nylam city.
Day 05: Nylam to Saga (4500mt) - After breakfast drive from Nylam to Saga for about 07:00 hours which is 220 km. Overnight stay at Saga in tent or guesthouse
Day 06: Saga to Paryang (4450 mt.) - After breakfast proceed to Paryang for about 06:30 hours which is 195 Km distance. Overnight at Paryang in tent or guesthouse.
Day 07: Paryang to Mansarovar (Hore 4500 mt.) - After breakfast leave for Mansarovar in a distance of 225 Km which takes about 08:00 hours. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Mansarovar Lake. Overnight stay in tent or guesthouse.
Day 08: Drive to Chho-kue Gompa - Mansarovar Parikrama by Land Cruiser. We will choose the special point to take deep in Mansarovar Lake and to Pooja of Lord Shiva. Full day free for spiritual activities. Drive around 2.30 hrs to Darchen and overnight stay there.
Day 09: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890 mt) - This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we have to walk continuously for about 6 to 7 hours. Yak will carry our all goods and equipment. Overnight stay at Driaphuk in tent.
Day 10: Diraphuk to Zuthulphuk (4790mt.) - The day is very sensitive and we have to pass Dolma-La Pass, which is 5400 mt. above sea level. The weather is unpredictable in Dolma-la Pass and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as early as possible. In route we can have Darshan of Gaurikund but it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay in route to Zuthulphuk in tent.
Day 11: Zuthulphuk to Paryang – We will Trek Down to Darchen Later our tour starts back for Kathmandu following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal.
Day 12: Paryang to Saga - Drive back to Saga.
Day 13: Saga to Nylam- Drive back to Nylam, which is the last stay in Tibet part.
Day 14: Nylam to Kathmandu - After custom formalities we will be picked up by Nepal side and continue drive to Kathmandu for about 05:00 Hours & check into same hotel.
Day 15: Morning Check out Hotel, transfer to Airport catch flight for Delhi/Kolkatta, same day arrival catch connecting flight for Bangalore, Same Arrival Bangalore
PACKAGE INCLUDES
Arrival and departure transfer to airport/ hotel/ airport by tourist coach. Three-night accommodation at Kathmandu at Dlx category hotel with all meals. Kathmandu valley sightseeing by tourist coach. Kathmandu/ Kailash Mansarovar/ Kathmandu all transportation. Visa and visa approval fees. All entry/ travels & road permit fees in Tibet part. Sherpa & cooks. Yak & yak man to carry the goods while you make a Parikrama of Kailash Parvat. Gammon (Air pressure) bag, Oxygen, Medicine box & Tibetan guide. All the meals in trekking etc.
FITNESS
Since Kailas & Mansarovar are at very high altitude, one should be appropriately equipped with proper paraphernalia and adequate medical checkups. Since it is a high altitude pilgrimage are requested to consult family physician and get the following tests done-

Apart from all these tests, the pilgrims are advised to start morning and evening walk, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise in order to be in physically fit condition.

TRANSPORTATION
From Katmandu to Zhangmu (Nepal/Tibet boarder) by tourist coach. From Zhangmu by four-wheeler Land Cruiser Jeep accommodating four to five persons. Truck  to carry all necessary supporting equipment.
INSURANCE
Full travel insurance coverage for medical evacuation, loss of belongings and trip cancellation is strongly recommended on extra cost.
